Leicester City hosts AFC Bournemouth
Leicester City hosts AFC Bournemouth in a game from the fourth round of the Premier League. The Foxes are currently fourth in the standings and they aim to achieve a second win since the start of the campaign. Let’s take a look in our English Premier League predictions.
Leicester started pretty well the new season. Brendan Rodgers’ team is unbeaten in the first three rounds, having a record of one win and two draws. Clearly the Foxes are improving under Rodgers’ management and we saw this when replaced Claude Puel in the middle of the previous season. It’d be curious to see how far the team could go with Rodgers coaching the team.
In the previous round Leicester achieved their first win for the season. The former champions faced Sheffield United away from home and enjoyed a 2-1 win. It was Jamie Vardy and Harvey Barnes who clinched the win for the visitors. It was a good win for the Foxes.
During the week Leicester progressed in the League Cup as well. They won the game against Newcastle at the St. James’ Park after penalties. The 90 minutes ended with a 1-1 draw. James Maddison opened the score for Leicester, but Muto equalised for Newcastle.
Bournemouth have four points after the first three rounds. The Cherries suffered their first defeat in the league in the previous round when they lost with 1-3 against the champion Manchester City. Eddie Howe’s boys tried to fight against the Cityzens, but Harry Wilson’s goal was all they got in the game.
Few days ago Bournemouth progressed in the League Cup, winning after penalties against Forest Green Rovers. The regular time at the Vitality Stadium ended with a 0-0 draw.
That’s our English Premier League predictions for the game between Leicester City and Bournemouth on Saturday. We wish you good luck.
