PSG – Nimes

The champion PSG opens its campaign in the Ligue 1 with a home game against Nimes on Sunday. Let’s take a look at this fixture at the Parc des Princes in our vip soccer predictions today.

Just as we all expected, last season PSG dominated the league and won it for a 8th time in their history. It was Thomas Tuchel’s first season as a manager of the club and he achieved that goal without much of a problem.

PSG already won their first trophy for the season. The champions met Rennes for the Trophee des Champions and won it after a 2-1 win in Shenzhen. Adrien Hunou opened the score for Rennes, but PSG turned the game around with goals from Kylian Mbappe and Angel Di Maria after the halftime break.

One of the most discussed subjects in Paris right now is the future of Neymar. It’s speculated that the Brazilian superstar wants a move to another club, but at this moment he’s still a PSG player. It remains to be seen what’s going to happen with him.

Now let’s talk about Nimes a little bit. Last season they did pretty decent in the Ligue 1, finishing 9th in the league. If they manage to finish in the Top 10 again, this would be pretty good for them.

On the market Nimes managed to do some deals. The defensive midfielder Sidy Sarr was signed from Chateauroux, while the Bosnian winger Haris Duljevic was bought from Dynamo Dresden. The midfielder Romain Philippoteaux was signed from Auxerre.

We shall say that Nimes lost some players on the market as well. Teji Savanier was sold to Montpellier, while Denis Bouanga moved to Saint-Etienne. Sada Thioub also left the club, deciding to sign a contract with SCO Angers.

These are our vip soccer predictions today for the Ligue 1 clash between PSG and Nimes on Sunday.
