Cagliari will host Napoli

Cagliari will host Napoli at the Sardegna Arena on Sunday in a game from the 24th round of the Serie A. Let us preview this fixture from you during our usual soccer matches tomorrow.

Cagliari had amazing few months from the season, but lately the Rossoblu are a shadow of themselves and the shape they have shown before. Right now the club is 8th in the Serie A with 32 points and without a win in its last nine games in the league. The manager Rolando Maran is trying his best to get his players perform in the way they used to, but so far it looks impossible for him to fix the situation.

Last week Cagliari conceded their 7th defeat for the season. The Rossoblu visited Genoa at the Luigi Ferraris, but suffered a 0-1 loss. Goran Pandev’s goal was enough for the Griffoni to achieve the win.

Rolando Maran is trying different things regarding his lineup in the last month or two, but so far nothing seems to work in the way he wants.

Napoli are also a team which is desperately seeking an improvement. Gennaro Gattuso is still working on the team since he replaced the sacked Carlo Ancelotti. The team is very inconsistent and it’s obvious – Napoli beat the champion Juventus just recently, but after that they lost against Lecce at the San Paolo – completely unlogical, don’t you think?

Last week Napoli hosted Lecce at home, but suffered a 2-3 defeat. Arkadiusz Milik and Jose Callejon’s goals were not enough for the Azzurri, while Hirving Lozano, Fernando Llorente and Fabian Ruiz were put on the bench.

During the week Napoli achieved a good win, though. They visited Inter Milan in a first 1/2-final from the Coppa Italia and won the game with 1-0.

These are our soccer matches tomorrow for the Serie A fixture between Cagliari and Napoli on Sunday. Can the visitors replay their performance against Inter Milan for the Coppa?
