Ferencvaros hosts Molde
Ferencvaros hosts Molde at the Groupama Arena in Budapest in a second leg from the Champions League playoffs. Let’s take a look at it in our free sure soccer tips for today.
The first game in Molde was an exciting one. The match at the Aker Stadion ended with an exciting 3-3 draw which gives Ferencvaros a little advantage before the rematch. But at the same time this result is not deciding anything – both teams still have their chances to progress. Ferencvaros are going to be happy with scoring three goals on away ground, though.
Boli and Uzuni gave the Hungarians a solid advantage in the first leg, but Molde turned the game around with goals from James, Eikrem and Ellingsen. The Norwegians were close to winning the match, but in the 87th minute Ferencvaros got a penalty kick and Ihor Kharatin made it 3-3.
Ferencvaros didn’t have a game in the Hungarian NB I during the weekend, so they could be as fresh as possible for this challenge on Tuesday. They realize they are just 90 minutes away from entering the Champions League. It is a big thing.
Meanwhile Molde didn’t rest and played their game in the Norwegian Eliteserien. It was not a very good experience, though. Erling Moe’s team hosted Sandefjord, but suffered a 0-1 defeat at home. This won’t be doing any favours for their confidence before this decisive game in Budapest, that’s for sure.
