Qarabag already past through two different teams in the Champions League qualifiers. In the first round they did the job against Sileks, while in the second one they faced Moldova’s Sheriff. Norway’s champions Molde also started from the first round and eliminated two opponents from the competition already. In the first round Molde faced KuPS and scored an impressive 5-0 win, while in the second round they did the job against Celje. The Scandinavians traveled to Slovenia and recorded a 2-1 win. The hosts scored first, but Etzaz Hussain and Leke James turned the game around in Molde’s favour.
In the Norwegian Eliteserien Molde are currently second in the league with 34 points won and a record of 11 wins, 1 draw and 5 losses. They have lost three of their last four matches in the league which comes to tell us that right now Molde are not in their best shape.
