Real Sociedad hosts Leganes

We are pointing our direction to the Reale Arena in San Sebastian, where Real Sociedad hosts Leganes in a first game from the 13th round of La Liga. We are going to take a look in our La Liga predictions.

Real Sociedad are having more than a positive season so far. Right now the Basques are third in the league’s standings with 22 points, but with the same amount of points as the first two teams in the league – Barcelona and Real Madrid. Even if they don’t win the title, La Real have a realistic chance of returning to the Champions League next season. If they keep this level of performance, of course.

In the previous round Real Sociedad celebrated their 7th win for the season. Imanol Alguacil’s boys visited Granada and won the gmae with 2-1, thanks to the goals of Portu, who scored a brace. The 27-years old player has 4 goals already since the start of the campaign, being one of Real Sociedad’s most influental players. He arrived at the club from Girona this summer and he’s doing pretty well.

Leganes on the other hand are struggling big time at the moment, being at the bottom of the table with just 5 points won so far. In 12 games played until now, Leganes managed to win just once – against Mallorca. Their current form is pretty awful – one win and four losses in the last five rounds.

In the previous round Leganes hosted Eibar and lost the game with 1-2 at the Butarque. Youssef En-Nesyri opened the score for the hosts, but Eibar won the match with goals from Charles and Kike.

In our La Liga predictions we think that Real Sociedad won’t make a mistake against the struggling Leganes. RIght now the difference in terms of quality between these two teams is pretty big and it will show at the Reale Arena.
